I'm glad someone else sees it the way I do. I was going to ask him what was the most points he ever scored in one game in his illustrious high school career.

And before it happens. I know he will come on here defending his right to express his opinion (which he has the right to). I know also he will say his statements are true (which I'm not necessarily saying they aren't true). I just don't like his holier-than-thou condescending attitude towards high school teenagers who are trying their best to play/be something he never did/was or will.
Damn boys are you really that dumb? He was being sarcastic! How did you all miss that, lol?

I agree with unchained, you dont have to be from the slums for your team to score more than 45 points in a basketball game. Its not like hes asking kids to go out and put up 80 a game. Basketball in swva sucks, period.
And my career high was 24 so cut the crap.
These 2 thinskins are already disregarded in my book. Bottom line is that basketball here isn't strong. Several on here have agreed with this.
Question for huey and crap, I mean Kap: Are the New Orleans Saints a quality football team? If we use you all's mentality, you aren't qualified to say that they are hapless, BECAUSE you all didn't play football at that level. What a joke you all are. That reminds me of the folks who bash someone for pulling for a team from another state in college football. You all have a right to your lil opinions, as do I. If you can't deal with it, get over it. BTW: A holier than thou attitude is calling someone an idiot because you don't like what they are saying (which is obviously true). Clean up your own yard before you step in mine.

I double that and Amen it also.
Don't take a genius to understand. LPD Basketball has been down for quite some time.
Yet some on here don't see that. When is the last time you seen a LPD team that could dominate at the regional level and acutally do something past that.
It hasn't happened and in a long time.
And even with the amount of quality athletes we have had the past few years. Most didn't have the accompanying teammates to help out.
I know that will make some upset but it's the truth.
Only way to get back to where it use to be. You have to have those who dedicate themselves to that sport.
Right now you don't have that, or the ones that do, in all honesty. Are not the athletes they think they are, their the athletes everyone tells them they are. Big difference.
I don't have a jersey flying no where in a gym. But i know quality basketball and players when i see it.
To make some mad coaches and players. I haven't seen it in the LPD in some years.
That's the truth no matter who it makes mad. Look at the real facts and see how far off any one who has made a remark is.
Then some question the coaches? Why. At least their realistic. They know what they have and don't have or most do. Some will even tell you. I have a team that can play in the regionals, but not the skill or enough good players to compete in the semi's. Now tell me coaches don't know. Be real
Go up the road and see what real basketball is all about. Or just follow the Golden Trail up the road. Best thing is if some want to have quality basketball in the LPD. It begin just like it does with football. A desire to be the best in the state.
You know me. I'm not going to sugar coat things. Sometimes the truth does hurt. Stoving up/going on a personal attack because you couldn't handle what everybody in the region knows is true, only confirms that you aren't opening your mind/eyes. But alas, I'll not lose a seconds sleep over anything said on this lil board. I've got much bigger fish to fry than those folks

I could not a agree more. It is sometimes agonizing to watch.
